Stocking Dealers for Drake

Anyone have a recommendation for a stocking dealer for Out of Stock Bob Drake.

I’m needing a Headlight Wire Harness wire harness 01A-11653.
For a 40 Sedan

There are several venders that have wire harness parts and some of them manufacture their own.

Drake doesn’t produce his harnesses. As mentioned above many vendors stock that harness.

Check with Sacramento Vintage Ford. They make harnesses to factory specs and should match up to the Drake harness. The other place to check is Bauer Electronics in Bend, Oregon. They also make harnesses and supply a lot of the V-8 vendors.

I believe that Joe's Antique Auto in MA is a Drake dealer. Another possibility is YandZ in Redlands, CA Not as cheap as Drake but top notch quality.

I bought the dash harness from you, was hoping you had the headlight harness also. Was told via E Bay message your out of stock for 7 weeks.

Thanks , I believe I found the headlight harness on their website. I’ll call them Monday to confirm.

Yes I’m out too for a few weeks. FYI Sacramento Vintage Ford harness won’t match your current. Personally I’d try Joes, C&G or Early V-8 Sales in SC

Thought I'd elaborate on what I said in Post #8.. Sacramento Vintage Ford, Rhode Island, etc all make excellent harnesses.
The only reason for stating they won't "match" is simply by appearance. Heck, my 1933 in my avatar has a Sacramento Harness in it and fits the bill.
The cloth covering and wrapping on different manufacturers harnesses will vary in appearance only. I always recommend for appearance reasons to use the same source for main harnesses so that the transition from one to the next will match.

Thought I'd post this as to not make it seem there is a functionality issue when there is NOT.
