I'm trying to help my Mom sort out multitudes of mysteries left behind by my late father. The attached photos are of a suspected vehicle ornament we would like to sell to an appreciative buyer...hoping for any help in identifying the application this came from. My suspicion was something Model A related, hence the inclusion in this particular forum. Thanks in advance!

That is the wings ornament for a moto-meter (which is a coolant temperature gauge used on many cars - basically a thermometer stuck in the radiator). The wings probably were universal aftermarket rather than a specific car make. Reproductions in several styles are available.
