I assume that when you buy a new speedo cable it comes without any lube. I pulled out the inner cable and there does not seem to have any lube on it at all.
Also, the speedo cable that I bought from Bratton's has a small plastic bag with a spacer in it--please see pix. How do I tell if it needs the spacer or if it doesn't need the spacer?? I was ready to install the cable last week but I figured I should get these questions answered before installing it.
