Default Last year for factory aluminum intake?

Just picked up an engine and transmission from a 1939 Coupe that was parked in 1958. After scraping off some chum noticed it had an aluminum intake manifold, thought the last factory equipped flatheads with that was 1937. Just looking for confirmation, scraped off and found serial number on transmission it is a 39 number. Plan on cleaning more next week and here's the kicker, it runs. Must of had a rebuild at some point but the cotter pins on the engine mounts looked like factory, somebody cared about the details back then.

1939 was the last year (at least through 1948) on domestic Fords. !939 saw a mix of cast iron and aluminum intakes utilized. By 1940 NO aluminum...
