Can anyone post a picture of neat plug wires. I am trying to clean up a friends spark wires. They currently rub on the pulley. Thanks

I found that the owner had mounted the looms too far back. Moved then to the next set of manifold bolts and that did the trick

I put 90 degree terminals and boots on the distributor ends of the plug wires.

This is 59A I did about 20 years ago (the blue one). It's not super nice, but...
I was planning on using simple wire looms. I forgot why I didn't. I like the way the looms look. I found the red flathead picture online. |

You are missing the metal guide tubes and rubber guides on the distributor.

Maybe I'm missing something but I have never seen "metal guide tubes and rubber guides" on a crab style distributor.

On my woodie I have right angle ends on both the distributor and the spark plugs. I am hoping to find this combination in the morning at Napa. I like how they send the wires away from the pulleys and clean things up. I currently have straight ends on both ends of the problem pickup I'm working on. It's nice to have the 'search' feature here. Thanks.

It also appears he has incorrect looms. 1942 looms had a crossover between the left and right conduits.

With the proper cross over tube in place, the wires that crossed the intake were enclosed / protected.
