Default Another Barn’s post

A previous post by another Barner got me thinking. In that post I responded that I rewired my stock 6 volt pos ground 52 F1 parking lights to a single bulb turn signal. The brightness of the bulb has never been sufficient in my mind.

What have other F1 owners done?

LED? Stronger bulb? If stronger bulb what number was number?

I changed the bulb sockets to double filament and used 1157 bulbs. Then you can still use the parking lights and have turn signals too.

ANDY.....If you're looking for a 6v DUAL filament bulb, to go ANY parts store and ask for an 1154 bulb. If you need a 6v SINGLE filament, take the 12v bulb with you to the parts store and request a 6v equivalent. You're looking for a 5 or 6 WATT bulb for NON-brake light purposes, as in a parking !ight.
