Want to replace my door striker plates and so far what has come from Drake and Macs don't line up. The originals, on the left have a center spacing of 13/16 and the new parts are less than that. Any suggestions on who might have them? Thanks!

Looks very much like an original striker I removed from a 1932 Fordor sedan. Yeah, I know, I'm no draftsman.

I'm sure there was a previous thread on this where someone said vendors had it wrong and you needed one listed as 1934. Do a search on previous posts.

How about welding and then grinding the striking surface of the originals to where you want them?

"Coupe"
THE THREE WINDOW AND 5 WINDOW COUPE STRIKERS ARE DIFFERENT! You have one of each. Specify what your car is. |

Is there a reason you don't like the inputs you have been provided?

Always have had great help here, just up against a wall on this i guess. Nobody seems to have the correct strikers, have checked with Drake and macs they have them but the spacing is 3/4 not 13/16 like I have. My car is a 5 window coupe.

Tom, Drake shows the striker that you want in their catalogue. It carries part # 40-702340 and is mislabeled to fit 32 thru 34 closed car only. It will also fit 1935 5window coupes, fordor sedans as well as pickup truck and panel delivery.
