We are in need of lifters for our project. Do adjustable lifters require special valves or do the stock valves work with them?
Thanks! Mr. Ed

They work fine with original valves.

Some times the original type valve need to have the but end of the valve ground shorter because the adj. lifters are longer.

The only time I have seen this is when the valve face has been ground to the point the valve should be replaced and/or the seat has been ground to the point a new seat should be installed.
