While i was attempting to take a little play out of the clutch pedal on my 29 I found the clutch arm nice and tight. In the process of reconnecting to the pedal, it became a little loose with some movement that wasn't there when i started
![]() Now when driving i hear a rattle like sound that sounds like its in the clutch area? Still drives and shifts but now i wonder if its safe to drive. Or what i may have screwed up. Thoughts? Thanks! |

At that point, i would pull the cover and look in the inspection cover to visually watch what the clutch and throwout bearing are doing. You may have lost the small spring that pulls the throwout bearing back from the pressure plate.

Maybe you lost the thin "wavy" washer that goes between the two pedals on the 3/4 inch shaft. If so pedals will rattle and vibrate.
