This thread on the Barn's Early V8 forum might help some Model A guys who have recently or plan to replace their light switch, as the switch is similar to the one in this thread.

Besides the horn contact that is addressed in this link, there are two other issues that I am aware of that at least two of the suppliers are dealing with:
(1) the plastic base is a little too thick on some of the repos and (2) the dimples for the off position that are in the plastic are too deep |

I tried to install an "original" upper piece the other day, only to find out that the little "wheel" with the dimples in it was clocked wrong. Off was at 3 rather than 6.

I took it apart and compared the "old" to the "new", and there was no way that the "new" one would work with any of the "old" components.

Re-assemble at noon or midnight, either will work. You have about a 10 minute window so don't dillydally.
