I am getting ready to clean and paint the fan and fan pulley assembly on a '53 Flathead. This is a sealed bearing and 3 bladed fan. I would like to remove the shaft from the cast belt tightener assembly but only if it is threaded. Can anyone tell me if this shaft is threaded into the cast assembly? I can't find any diagrams for this and did not want to horse it up if it was pressed on.

Also, the bearing seems fine and is, I assume, the original. I plan to protect it during the cleaning process so as to not have to replace it...yet.
