Question Drag link "innards"

I'm finding two different orientations for the spring, cups etc. In the Model "A" Ford as Henry built it ( Edition three) page 43 a technical illustration shows the pitman arm end of the drag link. What I'm seeing is a spring (next to the zerk) ball cup, pitman arm ball and then the end plug. Snyder's A-3305-S Instructions at the zerk end shows a spherical cap, pitman arm ball, ball cap, spring and then the end plug. Thoughts.
