Default *Running Board Welting*

Im going to paint my running boards black on my 37 pickup. While they are off I'm going to replace the welting. I have welting at the running board and front fender but is there welting at the running board and rear fender? Can someone give me a link to the proper welting that I need to purchase? Thanks.

There is only anti-squeak material between the fenders and the running board - NOT beaded welting.

Thanks for the info. So....this anti-squeak material, is it installed in a fashion so it can't been seen at the edge? Pics would be nice.

I had researched this recently and yes, once installed between the fender(s) and running board, it can't be seen. It simply keeps the metal board from rubbing directly against the metal fender.

Not sure about 37. but 35-36 had welting between fenders and running boards. Front and rear.

Mike and Zippi, here are some factory photos showing fender welting between fenders and running boards on a 1935 panel delivery.

Thanks for the help guys. Well, I've looked on Drake, Mac, etc. and don't really see any welting or squeak material called out for the running board to fenders. I see the pic shows welting on the delivery but now I'm just not sure.
