I have what I believe to be a very original early 1934 Fordor, The car was sold new in April 1934 in New Zealand so I'm thinking build date is no later than Dec 1933 or Jan 1934 . The only thing that I have felt was wrong is that the car has iron heads which I had assumed where a later change out. However reading through my Early Ford V8 club 1933/34 book I find a reference to a dealer notification dated Dec 26 1933 stating "Aluminum Heads Replaced with Steel Heads " Was there a short period in early 1934 when cast iron heads were standard ?? The car would have been ex Canada did they do things differently there ? - Karl
