Default Slant Window wiper hose/tube

For an original slant window model with the internal wiper, would like to confirm that the upper feed to the wiper secured by hinge screw clamps is a metal tube or rubber hose. I do have the A pillar metal tube that bends at the windshield corner.
Update : Just remembered a photo in my files / records of the wiper hose to wiper connection. The short piece of hose at the wiper connects to a metal tube passing thru the header upholst. So there must be a metal tube running under the windshield with a rubber connector to the vertical tube bend at the right A pillar.

Just finished installing a original vacuum wiper tube on a 31 slant. The tube is one piece running from the brass connector on the firewall, up the passenger side A Pillar, above the windshield frame and turns into the header. It sticks through the header about 1 inch. A very short (3") connects the tube to the wiper motor.
