How many miles would you drive your A to get the gear oil warmed up to drain it out & replace with fresh oil?

Ford said to drain the gear case, add kerosene and run it a few minutes and drain that, then add new oil.

I had to drain the gear case/differential on my 8N. Man that black goo was Thick! I found I could make it run faster by heating the bottom with a Propane torch. I wouldn't hesitate to warm it up somewhat that way.

The reason for flushing with Kerosene or whatever else is to wash out any metal fragments. I collect them with a magnet on the drain plug. I just let it drain over night, clean the magnet and refill.
