I am new to the forum, and need advice. I took the stock rear end out of the F2 and took it to a reputable shop in Dallas and was quoted $3100 to rebuild it. I was not expecting that. This truck was in a barn for 38 years, until 2 years ago. I thought the engine may have been bad, but i got the old flathead running, which i was excited about.
i need some options, i would love to keep it original, but thats alot of money. I was told any 9 inch ford truck rear end pre 1974 would basically bolt right up. i appreciate any help you folks might lend me! |
