F1 glove box door

Hi folks

I'm sure someone has devised a simple solution.

The glove box door on my 52 f1 is always open about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I'm thinking of using a magnet that screws into the door or the dash to keep it closed. Note: I'm not sure if a small magnet will be strong enough to keep it shut.

Anyone else experience this and have another solution?
