Has anyone installed repop rear sill plates on a '28-'29 Phaeton, Snyders says "some trimming required" no kidding! LOL! more like blacksmithing abilities required. When I compare them to the originals I'm not sure how or where to start. Anyone have any tips for me?

Did you have originals to start with so you could compare them?
My originals have some light rust on the rear edges, so I bought some replacements on ebay about 17 years ago. I haven't checked them yet for fit. I'm sure what I bought on ebay are reproduction, as the Ford script was less defined as I recall. |

Are these the rear sill plates (extensions) you are looking for? I have them listed on the swap meet page. They are repairable. $14 + shipping look under frank55a https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=202288&highlight=frank55a

That's them, but I thought they had Ford script in at least one pair. I'll have to check my 28 again.
