Looking to match M-102-E black Japan enamel, can't seem to find a good cross ref. Trying to restore a 1937 ford tudor to org.
Anyone know a good cross? |

Try TCP global. Here's a link to your cars color chart.
http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.asp...-Ford-pg01.jpg Most auto paint stores can match colors from back then.

No wonder I could not find it in the color chart from TCI global. It's not your body color but other items on the car. Have you tried looking in other reference manuals?

But well worth it. For me anyways. This is a restoration that is very special... This 37 tudor was my fathers second car he purchased. He got it when he was 16 years old. He went into the service at 17. This gem has been sitting scene 1952

Lots of opinions on exterior finish.
I prefer single stage on old cars. Looks more original to me. Too many seem to want the crystal clear polished look of a candied apple, which was unrealistic back then. for your chassis components is there a reason you need to match Japan black exactly? Can you just use a gloss black enamel? |
