Default Decoding a convertible top frame 56,57,58 ?

Hi, I'm Bob and new here.
I've recently inherited a couple of ford convertible top frames and I'm trying to figure out what they fit.
I was told by my uncle that they where 56 Ford, but he doesn't remember the model. Also, I was recently informed that because of the latches they have, it must be 57/58.
The latches have a part number of 10-32UNF2HTHD
I found part numbers on all the cast parts also: being BAC-7653104-AW 3105,3106,3107,3138,3139.

I tried research on these parts, but can't seem to find any info on Ford parts that started with the BAC prefix

Also, is there a part number on the header piece somewhere? And if so, where is it?

Any help would be great
Thanks in advance
Bob

Fun Stuff

Here is what I have come up with.

According to the Ford Master Parts Cross Reference book ,the BAC crosses to a B7A part number designating a 1957 passenger car item.

The first two digits in the numerical section on your casting numbers refer to the Body Style.

In this case the 76 is a Fairlane 500 convertible.

I can find nothing regarding - AW . I have found - AP .

I can find nothing on the 3106,3107 numbers - although the even numbers decree RIGHT SIDE and the odd numbers decree LEFT SIDE.
Theses may be 0316 and 0317 which are link assemblys for the convertible top.

So the BAC 76 53104 crosses to B7A 7653104 according to the Master Parts Cross Reference book.

B7 = (Ford 1957) A = (all vehicles usually passenger car NOT THUNDERBIRD)

76 = (Body Style in this case Fairlane 500 convertible)

53104 (roof rail right side)
*3105 (roof rail left side)
*3138 (rail - right side folding top rear side)
*3139 (rail - left side folding top rear side)

That is impressive. Thank you.
The only thing I could find remotely close to what you've said, is that the 76 in the part meant convertible and the 5 designated roof part, but that said it was for parts from 1960 to 1970

Now for the big question.
Should I disassemble and part out or sell as whole?
The canvas is probably worthless, correct? It's all stiff and brittle.

The greatest value would be as a compleat unit.

It would take forever to part the individual pieces out.

Leave the skin on it as a possible template.I have no idea what the demand is for that top or any sort of pricing.

Shipping that whole mechanism will be costly.

Good luck in whatever you decide.
