37 type 740 convertible sedan

a friend has this 37, 4 door convertible sedan which he believes some had a window up from the front seat back rest ,so the rear seat passenger's had extra protection from the wind with the top down .He thinks President FDR.had such a car having the middle window .He said he had checked with Ford US. they claim there records for that year was lost in a fire . might anyone have any information, for or against, he would really like to find a window. john
