Amazingly it will be two years this weekend since I hauled the 52 Merc out of the woods and began bringing it back to life. It was covered in melting snow, dead leaves, moss and oxidized paint and looked pretty awful. It has come a long way and been a real fun ride.

Yes, the old Merc is all over youtube. No doubt some of my subscribers are sick of it.
And Ron, I did get the car registered and made it to the local car show this summer. A memorable day for me and I hope to do it again next year. You can see the Merc parked beside my Chevy II at the museum car show back in August in this photo. It made the trip without incident and never even got rained on. :-)
