Default fuel pump flex line

What size tubing and type fitting screws into the inlet side of the fuel pump flex line? My fuel line has been replaced with a 5/16" steel line. I need to adapt it with the correct end to fit the rubber line to the fuel pump. 1/4" or 5/16"? Flared or ferrule? Thanks, Gene

The steel line from the tank has a brass ferule 2 with a male 1/2-20
thread. This screws into the female 1/2-20 on the flex hose. I would
find or make an adaptor to get back to an original flex hose. Bob
Shewman makes the best hoses available. Call him at 1-610-933-6637
and he could make an adaptor or put a female fitting on the hose to
match the end on your fuel line. G.M.
