Default Extra Hole in Carb

Was able to get into my garage last night to do a little work on getting my A Doodlebug fired up for the first time. The car hasn't been ran in 20 years or so and had gas left in it. So I figured it was a good idea to give the fuel system a good scrubbing. Removed the Tilly x that was on it and put it in the ultra sonic cleaner to start. Upon removal and examination I noticed a hole in the body of it. It's about the size of a pencil lead and appears to have possibly have been patched at some point. Do you think I can re-patch it? Or should I start the search for a different carb?
