Default 52 Merc Working Better

We finally have the carburetor problem figured out on the 52 Merc. It was starved for air with the air cleaner in place. That new through bolt and disk I had made last year was sitting too high and the disk was nearly closing off the centre hole in the air cleaner. With a little cutting and re-threading to the bolt the disk is sitting down close to the top of the Holley teapot carb where it won't restrict the air.
Got some video of the test drive. Sounds good on the big speakers.

Do you have a working ignition switch? Looks like you crossed some wires to get it started.

Yes, I turned the key and pushed the starter button just like when it was brand new in 52. Sometimes the camera misses a few details. I'm constantly amazed at how much of the original electrical system still works.
It does have a few wiring issues under the dash though. For one thing the neutral start switch at the bottom of the steering column has been disconnected so I have no back up lights either. I've worked on it a bit but really need a wiring diagram.
