Look at my irons the center bar has a different bend on each end. Which end is correct? The truck had taken a hard hit in the front right at some time in its life. Enough to bend that huge bumper and bend the fender a bit.

Here's an image from the Ford Parts book for your front bumper. Maybe this will help you figure out which bend is correct. Looks like the same front bumper arms were used for many years so it's likely you can find someone with undamaged originals for comparison if the attached image doesn't work out.

Yeah I was hoping to get a picture somewhere so I can see which side to straighten out tomorrow and then I can put the bumper on and the front body work will be finished. Then it’s finishing wiring and put the dash and seat in next weekend. Then it’s driving time

The 2 bars that bolt to the frame rails and go forward are the same it’s the long bar that has different bends on the ends. I assembled it on the front of the truck first I put the 2 short rails onto the frame then bolted the bumper to them. Next I put the long bar in using the center bolt hole. I still can’t tell which bend is correct. They both look right for different reasons.
