Default Dumb Questions

#1, Is a 32 B transmission any better than my 31, if so will in bolt in?
#2, I have read about using a model T spring to lower the rear of a model A, does this work? A stock T spring?
Thanks for any help.

Yes, yes, and yes. The B trans case has syncro 2nd & 3rd gears, and better ratios than the A trans. They will also accept any gears up to 1948 and in some cases later than that. Bolt in? Well, kinda but it takes a lot of effort. The easiest way is to buy an adapter kit from Cling's in AZ and use the V8 trans. e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll send you more info. The T spring is shorter and narrower but will fit right in and lower the rear of the A.

Those were good answers from Jim B. BTW, there are no dumb questions when you don't know the answers...
