Default Cam Dimensions on OEM Blanks

I know there are some guy's up here in the cam business regrinding cams, using the original cores, in order to gain on lift.

I'm trying to get a measurement on the amount removed from the original base??

Also the actual height from the journal to the heel of the lobe on one of the regrinds? I could see a variation here but it should be minimal.

Thanks, Gary in N.Y.

P.S. This is one area I cannot check over here, have no regrind's on the shelf. I have some new, Comp's and Isky's, and know the number from these, but not on the regrinds!

I measured a nice stock cam base and one reground to pretty wild. The difference was .221.
