Default Restoring Awesome Mallory Big Brass Condensers

Sometimes they still test fine...sometimes they don't. Can you cut the cans open, dig out the old material and solder in a Sprague Orange Drop cap with the right mF and fill with silicone and reassemble? They are such great looking relics that shouldn't be thrown away unnecessarily.
