I have the two volume 32 Ford book but I have a question. I believe it says all 32 cars had sun visors or at least the sun visor provisions. Did some have a smooth header and no provision for a sun visor? There is a header for sale on another web site, but I would like to know if this is correct. Any answers? Thanks Jim

All came equipped with two sun visors except the station wagons, trucks, panel deliveries, and obviously, the open cars. On those body types equipped with sun visors there were two different header panels reflecting the different mounting of the early and late versions of the sun visors.
On those body types not equipped with sun visors, there was no header panel hence there were no header panels without provision for sun visors. |

If you are referring to the "mint original" on ebay, look at the back side and compare it to the one that sold yesterday on ebay. The quality of the hem flange tells it all. It is neither mint, nor original as it is homemade. Even the reproduction on ebay puts the "mint original" one to shame.

Thank you, that's what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming this. I didn't know if I could mention ebay. The one yesterday was just to much for me.

Worst part is the "mint original" sold for $239.00 and the buyer left good feedback !!! This just encourages more people to sell fake stuff on ebay. 32 Parts are mostly original on ebay, but porcelain signs are running about 80% fakes. Another forum for gas collectibles oldgas.com has a sub forum warning people of known fakes. Probably would not be a bad idea to have one here.

I too had been looking for a long time for an original one and finally found one on ebay that even had portions of paint that is the same color as my car was. It was $156. but well worth every penny I thought.
