I have a 1928 Roadster pickup that was retrofitted with the then New AA 4 Speed Transmission around 1931. Trans case dated 2-13-31.
Is it possible to obtain this special U Joint today??? I'd like to find one to have as a spare. Can I take the parts that wear from a standard 3 Speed U Joint and install onto the 4 Speed one???

In a book I have somewhere, these are the parts that make it possible to install the AA 4-speed transmission into an A "passenger" vehicle:
A-7085-E Rear Bearing Retainer A-7090-C U-Joint Assembly AA-7095 U-Joint knuckle retainer. No doubt the part you are looking for is the A-7090-C listed above. I searched for these parts about 5 years ago and came up with ZILCH! You may have better luck.
