36 pick-up instrument lights?

I don't have a clue what if any instrument lights my pickup should have. On the spedo it looks like there are two "C" shaped straps that could hold bulb sockets. Is this where several bulbs are mounted? Is there a cover that goes over the back of the instruments or shields? Can anyone provide me with a photo or two of what it should look like behind the dash?
