Question - Do the 1946-48 Ford cars use the exact same rear E-Brake hardware (stamped metal "arm" and "linkage") as do the 1939-41 Ford cars? If they are not exactly the same/interchangeable would someone please post a photo of the 1946-48 arm and linkage? Thanks

I have only seen one style e brake hardware. The shoes are different 39-41 from 42-48, in their mounting and adjustment design. Lower part of shoe.

The Green Book list one part number for 39-45 and a different number for 46-48. So they are different. The 46-48 are part # 51A 2103 & 2104. The earlier ones are 91A.

The bottom of the long lever where the cable attaches is off set and not centered.

You can check all of this in the Green Book. They are listed as the same part # 39-48 91A.
