Default Wondering if it's possible

Hey All,
I have a '84 F150 4wd Styleside longbed that I brought up from S.C. a few months ago. The bed is less than desirable with no tailgate so i got to thinking, take the bed off and build a flatbed for it. Then I thought, because i like the 60's F-100 body style a lot better, could i put a cab and bed from a 60's truck onto my 84 frame? I have found a few "rollers" for sale in S.C. at decent prices. My cab is in very good shape (aside the ugly paint job) with virtually no rust and i could probably get $500 + for it up here in N.E. Ohio to offset some of the cost.
Does anyone have any experience with something like this?
Without knowing mount measurements and such, i'm kinda just putting it out there for some feedback......Thanx

Any modification is possible if you have either the money or the expertise. One of the main things to look at is the wheelbase of both. One longer than the other is a problem and could entail a lot of work.

Well, the folks over at HAMB obviously didn't like that it's an 84 frame so my question thread was summarily deleted, oh well. I'll put it out to some of the truck forums and see what happens....thanx for the replies.

anything is possible it depends on what work you can do yourself computer wiring body mounts chassis shortening and other mods that you know will pop up this is the reason people tell you they have tons of money invested in a car that they{others} built on a lighter note I had a customer that had a 53 f100 on a late 70's early 80's bronco chassis looked great keep us informed with your thoughts
