Wind Wing Screws
Does anybody sell just the screws that connect the two pieces of the bracket together? My heads have been roughed out and they are specialty.

Re: Wind Wing Screws
On my wind wings, the screws would not tighten enough to hold the wind wings for very long. Since my ww clamps were from off shore, rather than to fight metric threads and their inferior fasteners, I tapped the holes out for SAE sizes and there hasn't been an issue with them since.

Re: Wind Wing Screws
The pair I am restoring is an original accessory pair made of brass. I think the threads are standard but they have the same type of screws used on the repro ones.

As for the screws, we being a metric country, finding replacements was easy. The problem is the crappy quality, not the type of thread. Changing the thread so you can use better (not Chinese) fasteners seems a good way to go IMO.

Re: Wind Wing Screws
I don't know the manufacturer of my ww but I did purchase them from Snyders. I had 2 glass plates fall and bust so I replaced the rubber gasket with spongy 2 sided sticky tape and they have been secure ever since.
