Yes, Both the '55 and '56 Fords have a bulb behind the shift indicator. To replace the bulb, reach back behind the dashboard and pull out the light bulb socket. The bulb is removed from the socket by twisting counterclockwise less than 1/4 turn and release. Pull the bulb out. Install new bulb and push the socket back into the light bracket in the back of the dashboard.

I have looked but i aint able to find the lamp holder. Is it in the instrument cluster or in the dashboard? Regards Mikael |
