Default resister

What ohm resister is needed on 57 272 ignition? Also what voltage is needed at the plus side of the coil. Thanks very much. Jim

I've got 3 new replacement ballast resistors and checked them with a Fluke multi-meter:
1 was 1.5 ohms, 2 were 1.7

I also have an older and well used OEM ballast resistor, it measured 1.9 ohms.
Running voltage (not 'starting' voltage) at the coil + terminal should be 8 to 10 volts.
Starting/cranking voltage will be 12v at the coil.
