Default stuff from China

I ordered some LED bulbs from Amazon, and they came today. Return address is:

FU YA FU
407 SI HENG
YE DA DAO
CHENCHON QIAONAN FANYUQU
GUANGZHOUSHI GUANGDONG

I am guessing that is from China. I can't even pronounce those words.

No, but I thought they would be sold by someone in the US and mailed by them, not directly from China.

There's quite a few things on Epay now that come straight from China.
I was looking for a 28MM reamer on epay and most of them were coming
from China so I ordered one from Amazon, I figured it would get here faster
ended up coming from China.

Order on ebay. They tell you where it comes from.

When ordering from Amazon.com I always ensure that it states "Sold by Amazon". A lot of stuff is sold 'on' Amazon but not 'by' Amazon.

Anything not sold 'by' Amazon good luck returning it.

I was putting a couple of Apple computer systems a couple of years ago. Bits and pieces kept coming from China. And by FedEx. If I had that same part shipped from anywhere in the US by FedEx, it would have more than doubled the cost of the part itself.

Now here's the weird part: When I looked it up on the FedEx tracking, it showed that it was shipped from China, went to Anchorage, then to Memphis, then back to Anchorage for delivery. All for a $10 part with "free" shipping.

There's the "LED" shop where they came from, just like you said......in downtown Chenchon, Guangdong Hung Low. DD

And I bought my $70 prescription glasses made on the spot, lenses and all while I waited.

I figured you would have a good comment, Vince.
I did pronounce the FU. The 407 was not too hard also.

That's not an address. That's the sound that is made when you dump a box of silverware down your cellar stairs. I'm an old fart now!
