Anyone have a good photo of a 36 ford heater. I need to compare to some of the parts that a have to see if they are right and to help me to look for the missing parts.
Thanks Jacob

Here's an idea: Why don't post some pics of what you are trying to find parts for?

I'm guessing the heater could be about anything. Dealer could have installed about anything as well as someone installing/replacing one after purchase. As suggested a photo of what you have would be a good starting point.

That ^ and one thing's for sure, if it's a water heater, it's not stock.

The only authentic 36 Ford heater was a hot air heater using exhaust heat. There was no authentic hot water heater offered by Ford in 35. Is that what you have in parts?

Jacob, Here are 2 pictures. One is a 35 and early 36 assembly and the other is middle to late 36. Hope it helps.

Wow, the stock set-up looks like a good way to asphyxiate yourself if not perfect inside the heat transfer tube. Obvious why Mfgr's went to the hot water type. Wonder if there were any fatalities?

Don
Thank you that is what I was looking for. It looks like I got some of the parts. Do you know if there was any piping to the windshield and what it looks like in the 35 to 36 heater. It looks like there is piping for the windshield in the the late 36 set up. Also is there a floor heater for the back seat.

Jacob, Here are some photos of the defroster kit for your 36 Ford. It mainly consists of the elbow with outlet, flexable hose, defroster valve and defroster. Hope this helps.

Jacob, In regards to your question about a rear seat heater, it did exist. There was an adapter at the heat exchanger outlet that connected to a flexible conduit that went to the rear heater outlet and adapter.
