I just came across this Model t that was purchased 8 years ago in real good condition. It's been sitting outside under tarps for 8 years. Any idea what it's worth. The tires need to be replaced, surface rust in different places, radiator hose needs to be replace. etc.
Any ideas on what would be a good price? It's a friends car, we are thinking about $10K, minus a little for tires. If it runs, maybe $5000 to $6000 as it sits. You might do better if you sell to one of the right hand drive country's if all the correct parts are there. Many of these T's as well as A's, is that the outside has a great paint job but the running gear gets little attention. If if has a FULLY rebuilt engine, new pistons, babbitt, valves and runs on magneto etc and if the transmission and rear end have been gone through that might add some to the price. You don't say anything about the title so, the way things are now with the DMV's, if it does not have a title could end up being a parts car.
