Default Dual V8 Engine Trucks

I have seen the odd picture of dual engine trucks over the years and often wondered how they were configured and was driving them difficult?

Has anyone any info?

Thanks

That photo is similar but the one I saw was hauling airplane wings cross country during WW2. Maybe a US truck? It looked like a huge truck.

Before the war Lockheed had a twin engine truck that pulled a special trailer from Bakersfield,Ca to Burbank,Ca with wings . Truck Tractor was 1939 Ford Coe with twin flatheads behind the cab. Will look for a photo

That's the one I saw. Huge truck for the time. How was it controlled?

There was an article in the V8 Times about the twin engine war trucks.
