Just noticed my '29 coupe's e-brake handle looks as though someone has ground a portion of the flare away. I don't have another '29 handle to compare it too, but my '30 and '31 have a full tear drop shaped flare.
I can't think of any reason why someone would grind it down. Is this original?

Could it have been worn away by one of those "add on" extension handles???

I guess my brake handle isn't suppose to be like that. So I took it all apart. Welded on the missing metal. Made new pieces that were ground away, and put it all back to the way Henry made it, including the seam. I'm very happy with the way it turned out! ![]()
