Default Rear valance on a sedan.

I'm thinking the valance is mounted metal to metal on the body, right? I don't recall any webbing in between when I took it apart. Thanks experts.

If it was me I'd paint the body and apron before I installed it, and put a strip of friction tape on the mating surface. Ford did that in a lot of places. Bob

While doing research on the valance on my roadster, I have seen a lot of photos of valances. Some are painted body color and some are painted black. I did not keep a running total and I do not know which is "factory". The Judging Standards may be a source. Just sayin'. Russ
