I've decided to acquire some basic testing equipment.... would like to start with a cylinder leak down test kit. I don't need the best quality (i.e., Snap-on), but I've read enough reviews to understand that some of the kits out there are a waste of money. Can you folks suggest a decent quality kit and/or source for same? Thanks much!

For a leak tester : try Aircraft Spruce & Quality in Fullerton . For a compression tester just go to NAPA

I've had a Milton brand #1257 leak down tester for years. Maybe not the best made, but they work. And you can order one from any parts store that sells Milton air proudcts.https://www.miltonindustries.com/upl...Form_8X308.pdf
