Default Tube Shocks

My Model A Tudor has tube shocks on the rear and I have no idea what they were originally used on. They have a part number 20764 P237W, any ideas?
There also is a front shock kit that looks like you drill a hole through the front axel to mount them They have a part number 20829 POA0SC1M. Again I have no idea what there are for or mounting info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve

Try typing "shock absorber 20764 P237W" into your search engine.

Sounds like the ones I have on the town sedan. They were purchased years ago from Ken Davis in Dallas, TX. Here is a link to his home page.

By the way he makes an excellent shock kit as well as other modifictions for model As. Perhaps he is most famous for his air conditioning systems.

Hope this helps.
