Default Dream'n Bonneville

Many of you have seen pictures of my 1935 3 Window – decked out with all the standard “jewelry” that Henry provided from the factory … but here are some pictures (click to enlarge) of her all stripped down to rumble at Bonneville … no bumpers, lights, horns, mirrors .. no nothing …… slick as possible for an imaginary run on the flats. With the blown 284ci 59A under-hood, 2:97 rear (high end of the Columbia Overdrive**) and 7:00X16 rear Firestones – theoretically would be an interesting run! ….. Only in my dreams ! Actually taken prior to reassembly of the shiny stuff!
**Columbia ratio is 1.3846 which results in a 27.78% reduction in rear axle ratio so my 4.11 Std is 2.97 OD)

Nice car, Peter,
If you spend around 20K on it you can run it on the salt!

What is not to love about '35/'36 three-window coupes! They are beautiful automobiles.
