Repro stuff doesn't always work. You know you have to push the dash light cover in and turn it slightly clockwise to turn it on, right?

I have not wired as per the wiring diagram. On both my cars I wired the light, and the light in my temp. gauge, to the parking light pole in the switch at the bottom of the steering column and keep the dash light in it's on position. Doing this, it helps to prevent the accidental leaving the light on and draining the battery when you park.

Sometimes you overlook the simple things. Is the bulb a good one? Take it out and check it first before rewiring the assembly.
