We're looking for the location of the joint/seam - as the quarter panels are getting fixed and we'd like to do it "as Henry did". Here is a picture of the seam on an original 5 window - we're not sure where it goes on a Cabriolet.

Anybody have an original Cabriolet that you can take a picture of?

Thanks!

I THINK it should attach to the sub floor or sub frame rail. The floor is also attached to this rail. G.M.

Here's a side view of my 32 cabriolet. You may be able to enlarge it to see the quarter panel. This the last 32 Bill Seacrest (Mr 32) sold from his collection. According his restoration man, Virgil Sturum this car was in fair shape before restoration which included NOS fenders, front end, steering, engine, transmission and rear. Virgil was sent to Hershey and all large flea markets with a roll of $100.00 bills to buy any NOS 32 parts. He told me at one time they had 43 NOS 32 fenders. If you want pictures of the 32 email me with a list. [email protected] I think there are a few more pictures of this 32 on my web site www.fordcollector.com I'm starting to sell most of my cars if anyone is interested. G.M.
