Head lite adjusting

I have a 32 Ford with Original headlamps. The headlites have the new Drake reflectors and bulbs. The lights are great!
Here's my issue:
I took the car to a shop that has the old style headlite adjusting equipment, but he couldn't get the things to adjust using it.
So, I'll try the old method of a wall at some distance and height.
Does anyone have the correct original distance and height that Ford used?
I've got an area that's level that I can use.
Any help appreciated

bright lights with bad focus are just bright lights to look at them but not bright down the road where you need it

I really love driving my old Ford. I admit freely there have been some times where I have misjudged the sunset.

Head Lights on my 80 year old car are like the brakes and wipers, theoretical. Tail lights are lovin' life and work very brightly.

Of course nobody can see my turn signals (my arm) at night either!

I enjoy driving the A at night, can see good, even with original charging system i drive without worries even though I have quartz halogen bulbs ---they work better than seal beams
